Construction
The chalet was built in 1886 and the current owner bought it in 1998 – until then
it had not been inhabited for 45 years.
After plenty of renovation works carried out with passion from
1998, it has been transformed into a rare and unique place, preserving its particular character and authenticity.
In order to respect the architectural tradition of the region of Savoy, all materials used are authentic.
The decoration and the furniture perfectly reflect the spirit of the original structure.
The visible beams, old stone, the wood flooring and the furniture made of old wood, old stoves, fireplaces, a traditional "bouerne" and the old-fashioned style bathtubs create a particular atmosphere of comfort and intimacy, a haven of tranquility and serenity.
